Two-Week-Old Infant Found Unconscious in Acre, Condition Critical
An infant approximately two weeks old was found unconscious and in critical condition at a home in Acre on Thursday. MDA (Magen David Adom) paramedics and EMTs provided medical treatment and transported the baby to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya while performing resuscitation efforts.
Dr. Omri Gurga, an MDA volunteer doctor, and Salem Harika, an MDA paramedic, described the scene as "a very difficult event." They stated, "We were led to the infant who lay unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing. We quickly began performing resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and administering medications, and urgently evacuated him to the trauma room at the hospital while continuing advanced resuscitation efforts."
