Israeli Man Dies in Tragic Fall During Family Trip in Slovenia
Gil Hilel, a 44-year-old resident of Kibbutz Yizre'el in northern Israel, has tragically died after falling from a height while on a family vacation in Slovenia. The kibbutz announced the "heavy misfortune" on Sunday, September 20, remembering Hilel as a "wonderful father of three children."
Hilel, who was born and raised in the community of Mikhmoret, studied at the Technion and worked as an engineer at Maytronics. According to the kibbutz statement, he was a devoted husband and father who moved to Yizre'el after marrying a kibbutz native and built his home there.
The community expressed shock and deep sorrow upon hearing the news and is currently providing support to his family, loved ones, friends, and children.
