Israeli Father of Three Dies in Fall During Slovenia Family Vacation
Gil Halal, a 44-year-old father of three from Kibbutz Yizrael, died after falling from a height during a family vacation in Slovenia. The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.
Halal, who was married, was on holiday with his family in the country when the fatal accident occurred. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been updated on the case, with the Department for Israelis Abroad and Israel's representative in the region providing support to the family and assisting with arrangements to repatriate his body for burial in Israel.
Kibbutz Yizrael announced Halal's death with deep sorrow. "Gil was born and raised in Moshav Mikhmoret, came to Kibbutz Yizrael following his marriage to a kibbutz daughter, and built his home here," the kibbutz stated. "Kibbutz members received the difficult news with shock and pain and are embracing the extended family, friends, children, and youth."
