Israeli Man Dies in Fall During Family Vacation in Slovenia
Gil Hillel, a 44-year-old resident of Kibbutz Yizrael, tragically died after falling from a height while on a family trip in Slovenia. Hillel, who was born and raised in Kibbutz Mikhmoret, studied at the Technion and worked as an engineer at the company mtronics.
Kibbutz Yizrael announced the devastating news, stating, "A heavy disaster has befallen Yizrael. The community grieves the tragic death of our dear member Gil Hillel." Hillel, a husband and father of three, had moved to Kibbutz Yizrael after marrying a local woman and had built his home there.
Members of the kibbutz expressed shock and sorrow upon hearing the news and are providing support to Hillel's extended family, friends, and children.
