Israeli Man Dies in Fall During Family Vacation in Slovenia
An Israeli man, Gil Hillel, 44, from Kibbutz Yizrael, died on Sunday during a family vacation in Slovenia. Hillel, a father of three, reportedly fell from a height while on a trip with his family. The exact circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been notified and is providing assistance to Hillel's family. The department for Israelis abroad and Israel's representative in the region are accompanying the family and aiding in the arrangements to repatriate his body for burial in Israel. Kibbutz Yizrael issued a statement expressing deep sorrow over the death. Hillel was born and raised in Moshav Mikhmoret and moved to Kibbutz Yizrael after marrying a local woman, where he built his home.
