Health Ministry Partially Lifts Water Boiling Order in Karmiel
The Ministry of Health has partially rescinded a directive requiring residents of Karmiel to boil their drinking water. The decision comes after routine water sampling in most parts of the city yielded satisfactory results, and the local water corporation implemented corrective measures.
Despite the partial lifting of the order, residents in specific areas of Karmiel are still advised to boil water before consumption, brushing teeth, and preparing food. These areas include the Karmiel industrial zone, the Ma'aisim neighborhood (listing specific streets), the Southern neighborhood (listing specific streets and building numbers), and several public institutions such as the Cultural Hall, the Histadrut House, the community center, the stadium, the conservatory, the library, Ohel Baruch, the shooting range, and Ofira Park.
