Carmiel Water Advisory Partially Lifted After Test Results Improve

The Israeli Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the requirement to boil tap water in Carmiel has been lifted for most of the city. This decision follows satisfactory water quality test results from most sampling points and the implementation of necessary measures by the water supply company.

The advisory to boil water for drinking, cooking, preparing medication, and brushing teeth had been in effect for the entire city. However, residents in specific areas of Carmiel are still advised to boil their water until further notice.

These areas include the industrial zone (all streets), the a-Meyasdim neighborhood (specific streets and alleys listed), and the southern district (specific streets and house numbers). Additionally, several public institutions and facilities in the southern district, such as the "Heikhal HaTarbut" (Culture Hall), Histadrut building, community center (matnas), stadium, conservatory, library, Ohel Baruch, shooting range, and Ofira Park, remain under the boiling water advisory.
