Carmiel Water Advisory Partially Lifted After New Tests
Israel's Ministry of Health has partially lifted a warning against drinking tap water in Carmiel, issued two days prior due to unsatisfactory water quality tests. Residents had been advised to boil water for all internal uses, including drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth.
Following new analyses and "after the water supply organization took the necessary measures," the advisory has been removed for most of the city. However, boiling water is still recommended in specific areas. These include Carmiel's industrial zone, the Ha-Meyasdim neighborhood with a list of specific streets, and several public institutions such as the Cultural Center, Histadrut House, the municipal community center, stadium, conservatory, library, Ohel Baruch, the shooting range, and Ofira Park.
