Health Ministry Lifts Boil Water Advisory for Most of Karmiel
The Israeli Ministry of Health has announced the cancellation of the mandatory water boiling advisory for most areas in the northern city of Karmiel. This decision follows the receipt of satisfactory water quality test results from the majority of sampling points across the city.
However, residents in specific neighborhoods and locations within Karmiel are still required to boil water before consumption, brushing teeth, and preparing food and medication. These areas include the Karmiel Industrial Zone, the Founders' neighborhood (specifically streets like HaGalil, Tzahal, HaHaruv, HaZayit, HaGafen, HaTe'ena, Kalanit, HaEmek, and several lanes), and the Southern neighborhood (streets like Mish'ol Hatzav, HaPrachim 1-41 odd numbers, and Mored HaGai odd numbers 1-41).
Additional locations where boiling water remains necessary are the Cultural Hall, the Histadrut House, the Community Center, the Stadium, the Conservatory, the Library, Ohel Baruch, the Shooting Range, and Ofira Park.
