Health Ministry Lifts Boil Water Advisory for Most of Karmiel
Israel's Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday the lifting of the advisory to boil water for consumption and food preparation in most areas of Karmiel. The decision follows satisfactory water sample results and corrective actions taken by the water company.
However, the advisory remains in effect for specific areas within the city. These include the industrial zone, certain streets in the Founders' neighborhood (Hameyasdim), and specific streets in the Southern neighborhood. Additionally, several public institutions and facilities must continue boiling their water, including the Karmiel Cultural Palace, Histadrut House, the Municipal Community Center, the stadium, the conservatory, the library, Ohel Baruch, the shooting range, and Ofira Park.
The Ministry of Health stated that the water is safe for drinking, preparing food and medicine, and brushing teeth in the unaffected parts of Karmiel.
