Health Ministry Lifts Boil Water Advisory for Most of Karmiel

The Israeli Ministry of Health has announced the cancellation of a directive requiring residents of most areas in the city of Karmiel to boil their water before drinking, preparing food, or brushing their teeth. The decision follows laboratory tests that confirmed the water quality is safe in the majority of locations and after the water company completed necessary corrective measures.

However, the ministry clarified that the advisory remains in effect for specific neighborhoods, industrial zones, and public facilities within the city. Residents and visitors in these designated areas are still required to boil water until further notice.

The areas where boiling water is still mandatory include the industrial zone, the "Hameyasdim" (Founders) neighborhood with specific street names listed, and parts of the Southern neighborhood, including certain street numbers. Additionally, several public facilities such as the Culture Palace, Histadrut House, the Municipal Community Center, the Municipal Stadium, the Conservatory, the Library, "Ohel Baruch," the Shooting Range, and Ofira Park are also included in the continued advisory.
