IDF Destroys Over 30 Rockets Aimed at Israel in Southern Lebanon
The Israeli military (IDF) announced the destruction of 32 rockets prepared for launch and targeted at Israeli territory in southern Lebanon. The rockets were discovered by forces from the 55th Brigade Combat Team, operating under the 91st Division, during operations in the security zone. The forces located a hideout containing a tunnel shaft and ready-to-use launchers. The IDF stated that these 32 rockets were intended for Israel and were left in the area before the current ceasefire agreement took effect. The military subsequently destroyed the tunnel shaft and launchers.
The IDF emphasized its commitment to continuing operations to neutralize threats in southern Lebanon while adhering to the ceasefire. The military clarified that it will not permit Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians or IDF forces.
