IDF Discovers and Destroys Hezbollah Rocket Launchers in Southern Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the discovery and destruction of 32 rockets prepared for launch, targeted at Israel, in southern Lebanon. These munitions were reportedly left behind by Hezbollah in the area shortly before a ceasefire agreement was set to take effect.
The rockets were found during threat-removal sweeps conducted by combat teams from the 55th Brigade, operating under the command of Division 91. During their operations in the security zone, the forces also located a militant hideout containing a launch pit and destroyed the entire complex.
According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, the military stated it will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians or security forces and will continue to operate to remove threats, emphasizing its commitment to the ceasefire agreement.
