The IDF said its forces destroyed a rocket launcher in southern Lebanon on Tuesday in response to rocket fire earlier in the day at troops operating in the area. The strike was carried out by the Air Force shortly after the launches were detected.
According to the military, Hezbollah fired several rockets toward the area where Israeli forces were active in southern Lebanon. The Air Force intercepted some of the rockets, and in line with policy, no warnings were activated in the area.
In a separate incident, troops in southern Lebanon identified a suspicious vehicle. Soldiers fired warning shots at it, then struck the area to remove the threat it posed. The IDF did not say whether there were any casualties or further damage.
