IDF Says It Struck Hezbollah Threats in South Lebanon to Protect Forward Forces
The IDF said it carried out strikes to remove an immediate threat to forces operating in the forward defense area in southern Lebanon. According to the military, the Air Force intercepted several rockets launched by Hezbollah at the area where Israeli troops were operating. No alerts were activated, in line with policy.
Earlier on Monday, Hezbollah also fired an anti-tank missile and several mortar shells at IDF forces in southern Lebanon, causing no casualties. In four separate incidents במהלך the day, Israeli troops identified several militants moving in vehicles and approaching the forces in a way that posed an immediate threat.
After those identifications, the Air Force, directed by the ground forces, struck all of the threats in targeted attacks. The IDF said it would continue acting to eliminate immediate threats.
