IDF intercepts Hezbollah rockets fired at troops in southern Lebanon
The Israeli Air Force intercepted rockets fired by Hezbollah at IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. The military said there were no casualties.
During the same day, Hezbollah also launched an anti-tank missile and mortar rounds at the troops, again without causing injuries. In four additional incidents, the IDF identified militants approaching its forces in vehicles and posing an immediate threat.
The Air Force then struck all of the threats in targeted attacks. The report did not say when the events occurred beyond “during the day,” but said the operations took place while Israeli troops were active in southern Lebanon.
