The IDF said on Tuesday that its Air Force struck and destroyed a launcher in southern Lebanon after rockets were fired from it at Israeli forces operating in the area. Earlier, the Air Force intercepted several rockets launched by Hezbollah toward the troops.
Shortly after the interceptions, the Air Force hit the launcher from which some of the rockets had been fired and destroyed it, according to the military spokesperson. The strike followed reports that the IDF had attacked in Lebanon.
The IDF also said it had identified a suspicious vehicle earlier in the day in the same operational area in southern Lebanon. Troops first fired warning shots, then carried out another strike in the area to remove the threat.
