IDF Destroys Hezbollah Rocket Launchers in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday that its forces located and destroyed Hezbollah rocket launchers that were prepared for use in southern Lebanon. These launchers were positioned in the security zone prior to the current ceasefire agreement coming into effect. The IDF stated that during the operation, a Hezbollah observation post was also eliminated, which contained a shaft and ready-to-fire launchers loaded with 32 rockets aimed at Israeli territory.

The operation was carried out by forces from the 91st Division, which operates along Israel's northern border. The IDF spokesperson confirmed the destruction of the launch sites, emphasizing that they were found in the area designated as a security zone. The discovery and subsequent destruction of these weapons highlight ongoing tensions and potential threats along the Lebanese border, even under a ceasefire.
