Israel Weather: Hot Temperatures Persist Through Weekend

Israel is expected to experience continued hot weather on Saturday, September 12, with temperatures remaining largely unchanged from the previous day. Daytime highs will be warm, and nighttime temperatures will also remain mild across the country.

The Mediterranean Sea will be warm, with water temperatures reaching up to 30 degrees Celsius. Wave action will range from slight to noticeable, between 30 and 70 centimeters. The Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) will also see water temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius, with waves from slight to moderate, measuring 30 to 60 centimeters. In the Red Sea's Eilat Bay, water temperatures will be slightly cooler at 28 degrees Celsius, with slight waves of 20 to 40 centimeters.

Daytime temperatures in major cities include Jerusalem at 30°C, Tel Aviv at 31°C, Haifa at 30°C, and Beersheba at 33°C. The hottest inland areas will be Eilat reaching 38°C, and several locations including Afoula, Tiberias, Kiryat Shmona, Katzrin, and Ein Gedi hitting 35°C. Nighttime lows will range from 18°C in Jerusalem to 27°C in Eilat and Ein Gedi.

Looking ahead, a slight increase in temperatures is forecast for Sunday, with conditions remaining stable on Monday.
