Israel Weather Forecast: Hot and Humid with Variable Clouds Expected
Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight temperature increase on Sunday, September 13, with readings expected to be slightly above the seasonal average. The day will feature variable cloud cover across the country. Highs will reach 31 degrees Celsius in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Ashkelon, while Eilat will experience a high of 39 degrees. Beer Sheva is predicted to reach 34 degrees, the Dead Sea coast 37 degrees, and Ariel 32 degrees. Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee area will see highs of 36 degrees, with the Golan Heights also reaching 36 degrees.
Sea temperatures along the Mediterranean coast will be around 30 degrees Celsius, with wave heights between 30 and 60 centimeters. Winds will be predominantly northwesterly along the Mediterranean coast, reaching up to 15 km/h in the Tel Aviv and Haifa areas. The Sea of Galilee will experience northwesterly winds up to 30 km/h, and the Eilat Bay area will have northeasterly winds up to 25 km/h.
Conditions are expected to remain largely unchanged from Monday through Thursday, with continued variable cloudiness. A temperature drop is anticipated on Friday, with some areas potentially experiencing rain. Saturday is expected to see no significant weather changes.
