Sherki elaborated that this rumor posits the younger Netanyahu would receive a Knesset seat and form his own faction, potentially as a contingency if the Prime Minister were to step down from public life, possibly due to a plea deal.
Regarding the legalities, Michael Kleiner, chairman of the Likud's tribunal, stated that there are no legal obstacles to reserving a spot for Yair Netanyahu on the Likud list should the Prime Minister decide to do so.
