Netanyahu's Reserved Knesset Seats Approved by Likud
The Likud party secretariat has approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's reserved Knesset list placements. Among the approved candidates are Talik Guili, mother of fallen soldier Ran Guili, who is placed in the ninth position. Commentator and presenter Yaakov Bardugo will be placed eleventh, followed by Elisha Medan at fifteenth and attorney David Peter at sixteenth.
Further down the list, former MK Eli Goldschmidt and bereaved father attorney Itzik Bonzel are both placed at the twenty-sixth spot. Former "HaBithonistim" chairman Brigadier General (res.) Amir Avivi was initially slated for the thirty-fifth position but withdrew his candidacy. Avivi's decision allows Knesset Member Avihai Boaron to compete for a more realistic spot on the list.
