The Israeli military announced the elimination of three Hamas Nukhba operatives in Gaza over the past week. On Thursday, the IDF struck in southern Gaza, killing Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Barca, a Nukhba terrorist who participated in the kidnapping of Israeli civilians during the October 7th massacre. Among those he was involved in kidnapping was Alexander Dantziger from Kibbutz Nir Oz. Barca also reportedly aided in holding numerous hostages during the war, including Nimrod Cohen, in southern Gaza.
In a separate strike in northern Gaza on Friday, the IDF eliminated two more Hamas military wing terrorists: Omar Awatsallah, a Nukhba squad commander, and Mutaz Mahmoud Muhammad Alnamar, a Nukhba terrorist. The military stated that these operatives had been advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and working to restore Hamas's capabilities, systematically violating ceasefire agreements.
The strikes were conducted from the air to neutralize the threat posed by the operatives. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area and will continue operations to eliminate all threats, according to the military.
