The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have eliminated three Hamas Nukba operatives in targeted strikes in the Gaza Strip. One of the operatives, Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Baraka, was killed on Thursday in the southern Gaza Strip. The IDF stated that Baraka played a central role in the October 7th massacre and the kidnapping of Israeli civilians. According to the IDF, Baraka directly participated in the attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz and was directly involved in the kidnapping of Alexander Danzig. In a separate strike on Friday in northern Gaza, two other Nukba operatives were killed from the air: Omar Awatsallah, who served as a squad commander, and Mutaz Mahmoud Muhammad al-Nimr. The military noted that these operatives were recently involved in advancing plans for attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, while also working to restore Hamas's military capabilities and systematically violating the ceasefire. Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area and will continue to operate to neutralize threats.
