Israeli forces have eliminated Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Baraka, a Hamas Nukhba operative who participated in the October 7th raid on Kibbutz Nir Oz and the abduction of Israeli civilians, including the late Alexander Danzig. During the subsequent war, Baraka was involved in holding additional hostages, such as Nimrod Cohen.

Baraka was killed in a strike in the southern Gaza Strip last Thursday. He was a member of Hamas's military wing and took part in the initial assault on Nir Oz, directly involved in kidnapping several Israeli civilians. He later assisted in holding numerous Israeli hostages in southern Gaza.

In separate strikes in northern Gaza last Friday, two other Hamas military wing terrorists were eliminated. These included the Nukhba squad commander, identified as a Nukhba squad commander, and Mutaz Mahmoud Muhammad Alnamr, a terrorist within the organization's Nukhba unit.

All three eliminated terrorists had been actively working to advance terror plots against Israeli forces and civilians throughout the war, particularly in recent times. They were also engaged in rebuilding Hamas's military capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire agreement.
