Former MK Shelly Yachimovich Reveals Pancreatic Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment

Former Knesset member Shelly Yachimovich has publicly disclosed that she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer eight months ago. She was fortunate to be diagnosed at an early stage without metastasis and underwent immediate surgery. Since then, she has been receiving intensive chemotherapy every two weeks and is under continuous medical supervision. CT scans have shown no recurrence of the tumor so far.
