Former Israeli MK Shelly Yachimovich Reveals Pancreatic Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Progress

Shelly Yachimovich, an Israeli journalist, author, radio and television host, and former Knesset member for the Labor Party, disclosed on Sunday that she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer eight months ago. Shortly after the diagnosis, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor. Since then, Yachimovich has undergone several follow-up tests, including three CT scans, all of which have shown no signs of cancer recurrence.

Despite the encouraging test results, Yachimovich continues to receive chemotherapy treatments every two weeks.
