Manor Solomon Signs Three-Year Deal with West Ham Until 2029

After a summer full of speculation, Israeli national team star Manor Solomon has officially signed a three-year contract with West Ham United, as first reported by ynet. Solomon returns to the English Championship, the second tier of English football, where he previously played for Leeds United in the 2024/25 season and helped them gain promotion to the Premier League. He now aims to replicate that success with West Ham, who were relegated last season and are seeking immediate promotion back to the top flight.

West Ham paid Tottenham Hotspur an initial £5 million for Solomon, with an additional £2 million due if the club secures promotion next summer. Tottenham will also receive 10 percent of any future transfer fee for the Israeli player. Solomon’s salary is set at £2 million per season, and he will wear the prestigious number 10 jersey. West Ham began their Championship campaign with a 3-1 away victory over Portsmouth, and Solomon is expected to make his debut on Sunday at 18:00 in an away match against Burnley.

Solomon joined Tottenham in summer 2023 but struggled to establish himself due to a serious injury. He was subsequently loaned to Leeds United, Villarreal, and Fiorentina. Despite Fiorentina’s strong interest and attempts to sign him permanently, Solomon chose to remain in England and commit to West Ham for the coming seasons.
