Maccabi Tel Aviv Forward Said Abu Farhi's Family Set to Earn Over $1 Million in Transfer

Maccabi Tel Aviv may soon lose key young striker Said Abu Farhi, who has attracted a $6 million offer from Colorado in Major League Soccer. However, not all the transfer fee will go to Maccabi Tel Aviv, as Abu Farhi's family owns 17.5% of his player rights. This means that if the transfer is completed at the proposed amount, the family will receive approximately $1.05 million, while the club will get $4.95 million.

In the previous season, the 20-year-old Abu Farhi made 31 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists. He has started the current season strongly, scoring braces in both the Israeli Super Cup victory against Hapoel Be'er Sheva and in the first qualifying round match against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League qualifiers.
