Maccabi Tel Aviv Advances Talks to Sell Left-Back Roy Revivo to Spanish Club

Maccabi Tel Aviv is in advanced negotiations to transfer left-back Roy Revivo to a Spanish football club. The Israeli national team player received a significant offer, and Maccabi Tel Aviv does not intend to block the move. As a result, Revivo may not be included in the squad for the upcoming Europa League third qualifying round match against CSKA Sofia. The club is set to fly to Batumi for the match, but it remains unclear if Revivo will travel with the team, which could impact Maccabi's performance.

Revivo played 52 games last season for Maccabi Tel Aviv, scoring seven goals, including the winning goal in the State Cup final against Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and providing 17 assists. This season, he has already contributed three assists in the Champions of Champions tournament and in the Europa League qualifiers against Sheriff Tiraspol. Last summer, Revivo nearly transferred to Copenhagen, but the deal fell through due to Maccabi's high financial demands. Now, the player is eager to move abroad to advance his professional career.
