Maccabi Tel Aviv Negotiates Advanced Sale of Roy Revivo to Spanish Club

Maccabi Tel Aviv is in advanced negotiations to sell left-back Roy Revivo to a Spanish club, potentially sidelining him from the upcoming Europa League qualifying match against CSKA Sofia. The significant offer arrived recently, prompting accelerated talks as Maccabi acknowledges it cannot block Revivo's move abroad, especially after a failed transfer to Copenhagen last summer. The team is set to fly to Batumi for the third qualifying round match, but it remains uncertain if Revivo will be included in the squad, which could impact the team's performance.

Last season, Revivo made 52 appearances for Maccabi Tel Aviv, scoring seven goals, including the winning goal in the State Cup final against Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and providing 17 assists. This season, he has already contributed three assists in the Champions of Champions tournament and the two Europa League qualifiers against Sheriff Tiraspol. Previously close to a transfer to Copenhagen, the deal fell through due to Maccabi's high financial demands. Now, Revivo is eager to move abroad to advance his professional career.
