Maccabi Haifa Finalizes Deals for Goalkeepers Omri Glazer and Giorgi Yermakov

Maccabi Haifa is set to officially sign goalkeeper Omri Glazer within the next 24 hours, following his arrival in Israel and medical examinations. This marks Glazer's second stint with the club, where he will become one of the highest-paid players, earning 400,000 euros plus bonuses. To secure his release from Red Star Belgrade, Maccabi Haifa will pay a transfer fee of 300,000 euros. Coach Barak Bachar, who previously brought Glazer to Red Star Belgrade, strongly supports the signing, viewing Glazer as a key replacement for the expected departure of Dolev Haziza to Maccabi Netanya.

In a separate deal, Maccabi Haifa has also finalized the transfer of goalkeeper Giorgi Yermakov to Metalist Kharkiv. The club insisted on retaining 15% of any future sale, a clause previously applied in transfers of players Anan Khalaily and Lissav Issa. Initially reluctant to sell Yermakov for 2.5 million euros, Maccabi Haifa's stance paid off when Metalist Kharkiv increased their offer to 2.8 million euros, leading to the deal's completion.
