Maccabi Haifa Signs Goalkeeper Omri Glazer, Completes Giorgi Yermakov Transfer

Maccabi Haifa is set to officially sign goalkeeper Omri Glazer within the next 24 hours, following medical tests in Israel. This marks Glazer's second stint with the club, where he will become one of the highest-paid players, earning 400,000 euros plus bonuses. To secure his release from Red Star Belgrade, Maccabi Haifa will pay a transfer fee of 300,000 euros. Coach Barak Bachar, who previously brought Glazer to Red Star, has strong confidence in him, viewing Glazer as a suitable replacement for the expected departure of Dolev Haziza to Maccabi Netanya.

In a related transfer, Maccabi Haifa finalized the sale of goalkeeper Giorgi Yermakov to Metalist Kharkiv. The club insisted on retaining 15% of any future transfer fee, a condition previously applied in deals involving Anan Khalaily and Lissav Issa. Although Maccabi Haifa initially refused to sell Yermakov, who holds Jewish-Ukrainian citizenship, for less than 2.5 million euros, Metalist Kharkiv increased their offer to 2.8 million euros, leading to the deal's completion.
