Israeli Air Force Kills Seven Hezbollah Militants Moving Weapons in Southern Lebanon
The Israeli Air Force, guided by fighters from the Egoz unit, struck and killed seven Hezbollah militants who were moving weapons near a security zone where IDF troops are operating in southern Lebanon, the IDF spokesman said.
According to the statement, the militants brought the weapons into a building in the Al-Manzala area. The structure was being used as a combat position and observation post overlooking Israeli forces.
The military did not say when the strike took place, but described the target as part of Hezbollah activity near IDF deployment areas in southern Lebanon. The operation was presented as a response to armed movement close to Israeli positions.
