IDF Kills Six Hezbollah Operatives in Southern Lebanon
The IDF said today that its forces killed six Hezbollah operatives who were identified in a security zone and posed a threat to troops operating on the ground. In the first incident, Golani Brigade forces in Zoutar al-Sharqiya spotted five armed operatives. In a separate incident, commandos on the Ali Taher ridge identified one additional armed operative.
Immediately after the sightings, the Air Force struck the targets, and the ground forces also fired at the operatives, killing them. The army said it is continuing to operate on the Ali Taher ridge and is preventing militants from emerging from underground infrastructure or moving around the area.
