Israeli Leaders Suspect Jihadist Attack in Flydubai Pilot Incident

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz addressed a serious security incident aboard a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Israel on September 30, 2026. Netanyahu described the event as a "very serious incident from a security perspective," stating that one pilot allegedly attacked another with a knife and appeared to attempt to crash the plane with all passengers, who were predominantly Israeli, aboard.
