Israeli Security Services Investigate Flydubai Flight Incident as Potential Terror Attack

Israeli security agencies are re-evaluating a recent incident aboard a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, now considering it a potential terrorist act. Initially viewed as an internal crew conflict, the event is being investigated as a deliberate attempt at a terror attack, according to N12 citing security sources.

The situation escalated rapidly when the co-pilot allegedly launched a violent knife attack on the captain, inflicting multiple wounds. This created a critical risk of losing control of the aircraft carrying hundreds of passengers.

Tragedy was averted due to the swift actions of the crew and passengers. Several crew members and brave passengers managed to breach the locked cockpit door during the struggle. Together, they subdued and restrained the assailant before the plane made an emergency landing.
