Israel Suspects Flydubai Incident Was Terror Attack

Israeli defense chiefs, including the heads of the IDF, Shin Bet, and Mossad, increasingly suspect that an incident aboard a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Ben Gurion Airport was a terrorist act. The flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after a physical altercation erupted between the captain and co-pilot. Reports indicate one pilot used a knife, causing the aircraft to rapidly lose altitude, dropping nearly 17,400 feet in just two minutes. Several passengers intervened, entering the cockpit to subdue the assailant pilot and avert a larger disaster. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Defense Minister have held urgent meetings with security officials. Israeli authorities are investigating the pilot's background and motives, exploring possibilities that he intended to crash the plane or hijack it. Flydubai confirmed an "unusual situation" on the flight, stating all passengers are safe and accommodated in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Israeli military aircraft have been dispatched to Saudi Arabia to retrieve the passengers.
