Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the United Arab Emirates and met with President Mohamed bin Zayed, according to Israeli news site Walla. The discussions reportedly focused on regional issues, particularly Iran and its proxies, with a specific emphasis on the Houthi group. Representatives from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Morocco were also reportedly present at the meetings. Sources also suggested a separate meeting with representatives from Gulf states not having diplomatic ties with Israel, including Saudi Arabia. Earlier reports indicated the presence of representatives from Morocco, Libya, Jordan, and Qatar, though these details were later updated and corrected, with no official confirmation of such a broad regional meeting.

Israel reportedly expressed its readiness to assist with air defense systems, similar to aid provided to the UAE during its conflict with Iran, in response to missile and drone threats facing the region. Netanyahu's office confirmed the visit, stating it was at the invitation of President bin Zayed and aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional challenges. The Israeli delegation included the head of the National Security Council, the head of the Mossad, and the Prime Minister's military secretary.
