Likud Candidate Slams Hamas Captive Survivor Yocheved Lifshitz
Itzik Bonzel, whose son Sgt. Amit Bonzel was killed in combat in the Gaza Strip and who is ranked 29th on the Likud party's Knesset list, harshly criticized Yocheved Lifshitz, a survivor of Hamas captivity, on Monday. Bonzel's attack followed an interview Lifshitz gave to Channel 13 news on Sunday, in which she criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In the interview, Lifshitz stated that Netanyahu had not brought back any hostages and claimed that Miriam Adelson had "bought us from Trump." She also warned that if the current government remains in power after the elections, it would be a "disaster for the country."
Responding to Lifshitz's remarks, Bonzel expressed his dismay, saying, "I have never written in such a style, but I wish there was a way to turn back the clock and return you to Hamas."
