Mauritius Denies Landing to Israel-Bound Flight, Seychelles Airline Cancels Route

Spirit World Productions announced on Saturday that Mauritian authorities refused to grant landing permission to a Seychelles Airlines flight originating from Israel, leading to the route's cancellation. The tourism company stated that despite overnight efforts, Mauritian officials maintained their refusal, which appeared to be politically motivated. Following the denial of approval, Seychelles Airlines was compelled to cancel the flight to Mauritius. "We are saddened and disappointed by the decision not to approve the landing of the flight from Israel in Mauritius," said Tali Yetiv, CEO and owner of Spirit World Productions. She added, "We are particularly sorry that such a decision was made based on political considerations, directly harming Israeli passengers who have no connection to these decisions." Yetiv further stated that her company did its utmost until the last moment to ensure the flight's departure and is continuing to work with all parties involved to assist passengers and coordinate with Seychelles Airlines for necessary information to provide ongoing support.
