Mauritius Denies Landing to Israeli Flight, Stranding Passengers

A special flight from Israel to Mauritius operated by Air Seychelles was canceled after Mauritian authorities refused to grant landing permission, leaving passengers stranded. The flight was scheduled to arrive on the same day the cancellation was announced.

Efforts were made overnight to resolve the landing permit issue, but the Mauritian government ultimately denied the request. According to the Israeli travel company "Spirit Productions World," which organized the trip, the decision was based on political considerations.

As a result of the denied landing, Air Seychelles canceled the flight, preventing passengers from reaching their destination as planned. "Spirit Productions World" stated that its team is working with Air Seychelles and relevant tourism bodies to gather full information and explore options for the affected passengers.

The company expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and assured passengers that they would receive regular updates and personal assistance. Tali Yetiv, CEO of "Spirit Productions World," stated that the decision, made for political reasons, unfairly impacts Israeli travelers who have no connection to these matters. She added that the company is continuing to work with all relevant parties to assist the passengers and obtain necessary information from Air Seychelles.
