Man Missing at Sea Off Ashkelon Beach; Two Rescued

A search is underway for a man who went missing at sea off the Dalila beach in Ashkelon on Friday evening, September 25. Three individuals entered the water, and while two were rescued, one remains unaccounted for. Of the two rescued, a 24-year-old man is in serious, unconscious condition, and a 17-year-old is in light condition. Both were transported to Barzilai Hospital.

Paramedic Yaron Kapach of the Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service described the scene, stating, "We arrived with a special ambulance for difficult-to-reach locations. We saw a 24-year-old man who had already been brought ashore. He was lying on the coast unconscious. We provided him with medical assistance and then sent him to the hospital. Additionally, we evacuated a 17-year-old teenager in light condition. We were informed that another person was still missing in the water. Paramedics were ready to provide medical assistance if needed."

Police forces from the Ashkelon station, along with additional rescue personnel, were dispatched to the scene. They have initiated a search for the missing individual in the sea and along the coastline. Authorities are urging the public to adhere to lifeguard instructions, avoid unofficial beaches, and refrain from entering the water during hazardous sea conditions.
