Three Drown Near Ashkelon Beach, One Missing
Three people drowned near the Dalila beach in Ashkelon on Tuesday evening, according to Magen David Adom (MDA). Emergency medical teams responded to the scene and treated a 24-year-old man who was found unconscious and in serious condition after being pulled from the water. He was transported by intensive care unit to Barzilai Hospital. A 17-year-old boy was also treated for minor injuries and taken to the hospital.
Simultaneously, a search is underway for a third missing individual. MDA paramedic Yaron Kabach described the challenging access to the area, noting that their specialized all-terrain ambulance was used to reach the victims. He stated that the 24-year-old received respiratory support before being evacuated. MDA teams remain on standby to assist with the ongoing search efforts.
