Lorenzo Brown Nears Deal with Hapoel Jerusalem
Veteran guard Lorenzo Brown, 36, is reportedly close to signing a contract with Hapoel Jerusalem through the end of the season. The deal is expected to include an option for the club to terminate the contract after a few months. Brown previously played in Israel for Maccabi Tel Aviv before moving on to European clubs, including Olimpia Milano and Panathinaikos.
Last season, Brown participated in 12 EuroLeague games for Milano, averaging 5.8 points and 2.7 assists per game. His best performance was against Panathinaikos, where he scored 17 points and dished out five assists.
The potential signing comes as Hapoel Jerusalem faces a significant absence due to an injury to guard Jarett Harper, who is expected to be sidelined for two to four months after thumb surgery. Brown's addition could help fill the void left by Harper's injury.
