Lorenzo Brown's wife, Hal Calhoun, has confirmed reports that the American basketball player is set to sign with Hapoel Jerusalem. Calhoun shared a post on her social media story overnight indicating her husband's impending move to the Israeli club. Brown, a former player for Maccabi Tel Aviv, is expected to sign a one-year contract with Hapoel Jerusalem, with an option for the team to release him after a few months.
Brown previously played for Hapoel Jerusalem during the 2022-2023 season, following two successful seasons with Maccabi Tel Aviv. In his most recent EuroLeague campaign, he made 12 appearances. Prior to his time in Israel, Brown also played for teams in Milan and Panathinaikos.
