Hapoel Jerusalem in Advanced Talks for Lorenzo Brown
Hapoel Jerusalem basketball club is in advanced negotiations to sign former Maccabi Tel Aviv player Lorenzo Brown from Olimpia Milano on loan. The team aims to strengthen its backcourt following an injury to guard Jared Harper, who is expected to be sidelined for approximately four months.
Brown, 36, previously played for Maccabi Tel Aviv for two seasons, winning two championships. He moved to Panathinaikos in the summer of 2024 on a three-year deal worth 5.4 million euros. However, after a disappointing season, he parted ways with the Greek club in 2025, receiving a 700,000 euro settlement.
In July 2025, Brown signed a multi-year contract with Olimpia Milano. Despite the long-term deal, his performance in Milan was also unsatisfactory, with only 12 EuroLeague appearances during the past season. He has reportedly been estranged from the Italian club since last season.
