Lorenzo Brown's Wife Hints at Move to Hapoel Jerusalem

Speculation is mounting that American basketball player Lorenzo Brown may be heading to Hapoel Jerusalem, following a social media post by his wife, Halle Calhoun. Calhoun shared a report from Eurohoops on her Instagram story, suggesting Brown has agreed to terms with the team coached by Sasa Obradovic. She further fueled the rumors by posting a video of Jerusalem with the caption "The next chapter."

Hapoel Jerusalem is reportedly looking to strengthen its backcourt due to an injury to Jared Harper, who is expected to be sidelined for approximately four months. The team has initiated discussions with Olimpia Milano regarding the potential loan of the 36-year-old guard, who has been estranged from his current club since last season.

Brown has prior experience in Israel, having played for Maccabi Tel Aviv for two seasons and winning two championships. He later signed a three-year, €5.4 million contract with Panathinaikos in the summer of 2024 but parted ways with the club in 2025 after a disappointing season, receiving €700,000 in compensation. In July 2025, he signed a multi-year deal with Olimpia Milano, but his performance there was also underwhelming, with only 12 EuroLeague appearances.
