Lorenzo Brown, formerly of Maccabi Tel Aviv, is seeking an immediate release from his contract with Italian club Olimpia Milano, expressing his frustration on Twitter with the message "Free me." Brown has not been included in Milano's plans for the upcoming EuroLeague season and did not participate in the team's training camp, signaling a failed integration with the club.

Brown signed a two-year deal with Milano in the summer, meaning he would be a free agent at the end of the current season. However, his inability to settle in and his absence from the start of preparations have led him to push for an earlier departure. Reports from Italy indicate that the team does not want him, and he is eager to find a new team.

The primary obstacle to Brown's release is financial, as both sides are negotiating a contract termination agreement. While a potential agreement might involve a 50% salary cut for Brown, no consensus has been reached yet.
