Children Injured in Holiday Accidents Across Israel
During Yom Kippur, emergency medical teams responded to several accidents involving children across Israel, resulting in injuries of varying severity and hospitalizations. The most serious incident occurred in Beitar Illit, where a four-year-old boy sustained critical injuries after falling at home. According to his family, the child fell from a chair and hit his head. He received medical treatment at the scene and was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition.
In Bnei Brak, a four-year-old girl suffered moderate injuries after falling from a height of approximately four meters in a playground. Responders provided her with medical care and evacuated her by ambulance to Schneider Children's Medical Center in Petah Tikva, where her condition was described as moderate.
Additionally, in Beit Shemesh, an eleven-year-old girl was injured in a playground on the evening of the holiday. She reportedly sustained head and limb injuries from a carousel. After receiving initial medical assistance, she was taken by ambulance to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, also in moderate condition.
